Anastasiia

I have 25 years of teaching experience, both of Russian and English as foreign languages. I teach English (A0-C1 levels, General and Business English) and Russian as a foreign language, for which my exam preparation experience includes the IB, TIBOU, A Levels and GCSE. I am also a GCSE Russian examiner. I am a true linguist and lover of languages. I also speak French and basic Italian, German and Spanish, and look forward to inspiring my new students to success and enjoyment of their language skills.

I hold a Master in English Language and Literature and I graduated with my PhD in Linguistics in 2001 from St.Petersburg State University, where I worked for 13 years before moving to Switzerland. In 2014 I completed my CELTA to be able to teach English as a foreign language. I also worked for many years as an English/Russian translator. I find it very important to make my students feel at ease first, then share with them my passion for languages. Also, repetition and drill give excellent results.
