I have been teaching for over 20 years and am an active teacher of IB History and Global Politics as well as an experienced online tutor for both IB and IGCSE. Since 2014 I have worked as an examiner for IB History in both English and Spanish and I am also an examiner for the History Internal Assessment. I am part of the team creating content for the new IB Global Politics guide for teachers (first examinations 2026). I am passionate about teaching, and take great joy in guiding students to face their challenges and overcome them.

I graduated as a Professor of History in 2003 and started working as an Assistant Teacher at my university where I went on to complete a Master in Sociology of Culture. I started teaching IB and iGCSE History in 2009, with a focus on 20th century History in both programmes. I now also teach IB Global Politics and have gained a wealth of experience supervising IB Extended Essays, including the World Studies Essay, and guiding Internal Assessments for the IB. I can help students with all the components of the IB and iGCSE programmes, giving them tips and helping them build the confidence to excel in their exams. For me, students are an inspiration and an example of resilience, hard work and commitment.
