I am a certified teacher with three decades of classroom experience, the last half of which has been in international schools. Currently I tutor IB, IGCSE and A Level, Geography, and IB Global Politics, Theory of Knowledge and Digital Society. I have very deep knowledge of the IB programme. This is because I am an IB Workshop Leader, training teachers in Geography, TOK and Digital Society. Also, I am a School Visit Member; Course Reader; Examiner, and Moderator. I bring all this insight into my lessons, ensuring my students have the most up-to-date knowledge. This helps prepare them for what is expected from them in their IB exams, Internal Assessments and Extended Essays.

I followed my undergraduate studies in Geography with a BEd in Geography and English, and a Postgraduate Certificate of Education. In my current school, I am Geography Coordinator and teacher, as well as TOK teacher and I also coordinate the Model United Nations, which is a true passion of mine. Previously I have held the roles of IB Global Politics teacher, Deputy Head National Curriculum, CAS Coordinator and Head of Department for Geography. My teaching approach is focused on conceptual understanding, and Interactive, inquiry-based sessions where the student is the protagonist in his or her learning. My students have often commented on my patient approach and ability to help them achieve great results.
