I am a Spanish teacher by vocation and have been teaching Spanish since 2008. I have been an IB Spanish teacher for over 10 years. Experienced teaching Ab Initio, Language B and Language A: Language & Literature, I have a wide range of experience. As an IB teacher training Workshop Leader and Examiner for Language A, Language B and the Extended Essay, I am always up-to-date. Due to both of these roles I have with the latest information and teaching strategies. I am also an Internal Assessment and Extended Essay moderator. As a result, I confidently guide students to success in these independent tasks. I have a particular interest in inclusion, making me especially equipped to tailor tuition to all students, including those with special education needs.

After graduating in Hispanic Philology, I went on to complete a master's in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I also hold an MBA specialising in School Management. Currently I am studying for a MEd in Advanced Teaching, and am Head of Modern Languages at my school. As a specialist in multilingualism, I always strive to bring an open and international perspective to the learning process. I use innovative teaching strategies to develop a growth mindset in my students and to cultivate a deep understanding of mathematical ideas, setting firm foundations for boosting results.
