I am a patient, caring and hardworking professional teacher committed to cultivating productive learning environments that drive student progress and understanding. I am experienced in teaching IB Maths AA and AI at all levels, and the AP Common Core (Algebra 1/Geometry/Algebra 2), as well as middle school Maths in English and Portuguese. As an IB examiner and Internal Assessment moderator for all IB Maths courses I know exactly what is expected of students in each exam, and I draw upon diverse instructional strategies to ensure every learner achieves their goals.

I hold undergraduate studies in Mathematics and a master's in Math Education and have been working as a Bilingual Maths teacher since 2016, imparting the beauty and real meaning of Mathematics. I started my teaching career very young teaching English, even before completing my Maths and teaching degrees, preparing students for university entrance exams. I am skilled at developing innovative lessons that encourage critical thinking and help students develop mathematical reasoning. I support students' problem-solving abilities by incorporating real-life applications into mathematical concepts.
