A certified teacher, I am a Chemistry and Physics specialist, with over 10 years of international school experience in Science and Maths. I am currently Head of Science at an IB school, where I teach IB Chemistry and Physics. I also have ample experience teaching and tutoring AP and IGCSE Chemistry, Physics and Maths as well as Coordinated and Combined Science for the Edexcel exam board. I enjoy supporting IB Diploma students to boost the quality of their independent work such as Internal Assessments and Extended Essays. I am known for creating great relationships with my students and put in every effort to guide them towards success.

I completed undergraduate degrees in Biochemistry and Materials Engineering before undertaking a Master of Arts in Teaching Science. I began teaching in 2012 in US public schools before moving my career internationally over the last decade to China and then Europe, specialising in IGCSE, IB and AP Physics and Chemistry and IGCSE and AP Maths. My teaching style strives to inspire the next generations to become lifelong learners while fostering a sense of responsibility to utilise their inherent and developed skills to improve the world around them. I make use of inquiry based approaches such as project based learning to allow students to centre the learning on them and promote higher order thinking skills.
