I have a real passion for science and helping others to better understand the concepts involved. In over a decade of teaching, I have helped hundreds of students progress to university and have delivered talks at conferences on topics centred around maximizing learning in scientific and mathematical subjects. I have a wide range of experience writing and delivering courses in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, and supporting students prepare for exams or write laboratory reports, essays, and presentations. I am confident tutoring a variety of curricula, including IB, IGCSE, A Level, and AP.

After my BSc Physics, I taught university preparation courses in the UK, focusing on students wanting to study Engineering or Sciences at university. Whilst working full time at the college, I obtained my teaching qualification as well as my Qualified Teacher and Lecturer Status (QTLS). This has allowed me to embed pedagogical theory into my teaching. I excel at conveying how concepts fit together within a wider framework. Growing up in a family of teachers ensured that I understand that learning is a life-long process. This really instilled a deep respect for both education as well as the people who facilitate learning in others.
