A teacher since 2002, my experience has ranged from teaching at university level to the IB, IGCSE & the AP course. During my career I have taught Psychology, Statistics, Mathematics, and TOK. In fact, I use my expertise as an IB Psychology and TOK examiner to guide them on how best to achieve high scores. By thoroughly preparing my students for external assessments, I help them get the best grades possible. Furthermore, I deliver effective online lessons, having taught students and led online teacher training workshops for many years.

I hold a Master's of Social Psychology and Counselling, specialising in adolescence, and am currently pursuing my PhD in Leadership & Learning at UCL. In addition, I've held a number of administrative roles including School Principal, Head of School, Programme Coordinator, and Head of Academic and College Counselling. Moreover, I am an internationally certified trainer of Concept-Based Curriculum and Instruction. While, at the same time, I am an IB Examiner.

My teaching approach is student-centred and inquiry-based. Hence, I ensure students reach a deeper understanding of the taught concepts. In my teaching practice I engage them through continuous questioning to promote higher levels of thinking. Consequently this makes it easier and more effective for them to absorb concepts. Depending on the student’s profile and capabilities, I may recommend focusing on certain topics in-depth rather than studying a wider range with less depth.
