An expert in my field, I co-authored the latest Pearson edition of Chemistry HL for the IB Diploma. Currently, I teach IB Chemistry and ESS and serve as an IB Chemistry Examiner, IA Moderator and a Chemistry Curriculum Review Committee Member. I am currently the Secondary School Principal at my school, but enjoy making time to tutor students one to one. My approach is to teach from the heart and creating meaningful learning experiences that guide my students to excel.

I hold a PhD in Organic Chemistry and have been teaching in international schools since 2015. I am currently studying for a Master of Education in Advanced Teaching methods. My tutoring approach is heavily influenced by the IB philosophy of exploration and concept-based teaching. During my tutorials, I guide students through an in-depth exploration of the concepts being taught. Then we practice related problems from various perspectives. This process often involves linking new material to prior knowledge or future topics to enhance understanding. I find that when learning occurs, the grades simply follow.
