The Kick start your English Individual Oral course is a comprehensive course to equip IB Diploma students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel in their IO.
The course is designed for all students – those just beginning the I.B. and those approaching their oral.
Please note – To make the most of the sessions, those students who already know which language and literature texts they will be studying should share this information with the tutor prior to beginning the course.

This course is designed for IB English A: Language & Literature and Literature students who want expert guidance on their Individual Oral (IO). Whether you’re just beginning or refining your final draft, this course gives you the structure, strategies, and feedback you need to succeed.

By the end of the course, you’ll have a clear outline, refined ideas, and a strong foundation for your final IO.
Once you’ve booked your IO course, we’ll send you an invoice by email for 300 Swiss Francs per course, which you can pay in a way which suits you. For example, you can pay via bank transfer, or Twint, if you are in Switzerland or Wise transfer or credit card if you are outside of Switzerland. Consequently, we will confirm your place as soon as we receive your payment.
IB examiners and moderators teach all our Summer EE courses. In fact, because they have deep knowledge of the EE marking criteria, they know exactly how to guide you. You can browse through the profiles above to look in more depth at our EE teachers. Moreover, you can also look at the IBO site for rules on academic integrity.
Absolutely. All support is provided within the ethical guidelines of the IB. Our tutors help you develop your own analysis and structure your oral, but the ideas and final presentation will be entirely your own.
Yes! Some students take multiple short courses—for example, one for the IO and another for the Extended Essay. Let us know your needs, and we’ll help you plan your schedule.
No problem at all! In fact, if you can’t fit in one of our Summer courses, we offer IB tutoring online year-round. Most importantly, our flexible one-to-one sessions mean you can still receive IB coaching no matter your availability or time zone.
Likewise, if you have a group of at least 2 friends who would like to run this course on a different date, please get in touch and we can arrange this.
