About:
I am an enthusiastic educator with a proven track record as a teacher across all key stages of the IB. I have deep knowledge of the IB Diploma Programme in particular with over 25 years as an IB Chemistry teacher, Head of TOK and over a decade of experience as DP Coordinator. As a leader in education I am collaborative, forward-thinking, and deeply committed to both academic excellence and student wellbeing. Deeply passionate about inspiring the next generation of scientists, I also support teachers new to the IB to fully bring to life the programme's particular learning philosophy.
Teaching experience and approach:
I have a joint honours degree in Chemistry and Philosophy of Science from Kings College and London School of Economics, as well as a PGCE in Chemistry and Science. After 35 years teaching in schools, including leadership roles such as Assistant Principal and IB DP coordinator at the International School of Geneva, I have recently retired and am dedicating my time to tutoring and supporting teachers and school leadership achieve excellence and shape the strategic direction their education communities.
