I am a certified and enthusiastic educator with over 10 years of international teaching experience. As well as teaching to IGCSE and A Level Biology, I have specialised in the IB, teaching Biology and ESS to a standard that consistently leads students to above world average results. I am an IB Biology examiner and IB Internal Assessment moderator as well as an Extended Essay expert, guiding students with all the knowledge I obtained while working as Extended Essay Coordinator. Additionally, I am an experienced World Studies EE supervisor. As a registered Biomedical Scientist, I enjoy integrating real-world industry experience into my teaching, fostering curiosity and critical thinking.

I hold undergraduate studies in Biomedical Science and obtained my Postgraduate Diploma in Secondary Education (Biology) in 2015. Since then I have worked in the UK, Middle East and South America teaching to IGCSE, A Level and IB curricula. Prior to teaching, I worked as a Biomedical scientist in an NHS Microbiology laboratory, and I regularly draw upon this real-world experience to create authentic and applied learning opportunities for my students.

I am committed to my role in helping students grow into positive, innovative, global citizens fully prepared to fulfil their ambitions with regards to their studies and beyond. I am known for my particular ability to make difficult content accessible to all students, ensuring each achieves to their full potential.
