I have been a Maths teacher since 2014, specialising in AP and IB curricula, specifically Maths AA SL/HL and Maths AI SL. In my previous school, I served as Head of Department. I leverage technology to create provoking, personalized learning experiences that foster critical thinking and inspire students to solve problems. I have a passion for making Maths relatable and ensuring a solid understanding of its foundational concepts so that students become autonomous and fully confident in their abilities.

I hold a Master of Education in International Education Administration as well as undergraduate studies in Mathematics and Education. My international education career has taken me from Asia to Africa where I have taught AP Algebra 1, 2, Geometry, Pre-Calc & AP Probability/Statistics as well as the IB Diploma including supporting Internal Assessments and Extended Essays. I have been an individual and small-group tutor on-and-off since becoming a Maths teacher.

My strengths in private tutoring are that I am perceptive when it comes to identifying the strengths and limitations of individual students. I'm also able to adapt to students' individual needs by going back to the foundations before moving forward with the new, unfamiliar or challenging content. Patience and adaptability are essential for tutoring which are essential characteristics of my personality.
