I am passionate about teaching Biology, specifically within the IB curriculum which I have been teaching since 2013. When my first ever DP cohort achieved excellent results, I was quickly promoted into positions of leadership including Extended Essay coordinator and now the IB Diploma coordinator at my school. Since 2016 I have been working as IB examiner for Biology and Internal Assessment, invaluable experience which I bring to my students so they can fully achieve their goals for their studies.

I quickly followed my Master in Biology, Biochemistry and Physiology with a Certificate of Teaching, and have been teaching since 2013, staying up-to-date with the latest IB syllabus and approaches to teaching and learning as recommended by the IB. My tuition is very tailored to the student's needs. We usually start with identifying the areas the student would like to focus on. As Biology is the science of life, it is very vivid and interactive so I use a tablet to draw schemes, processes or work on tasks as I believe we can achieve the best results if during the lesson an image is produced to visually support full comprehension, especially in lessons focused on more theoretical biological concepts. In lessons focused on practising different paper type questions, I use different platforms to find appropriate questions based on what the student needs to practice.
