I currently work at an international school in Europe where, in addition to teaching IB and IGCSE Physics and Maths, I serve as Head of Mathematics and CAS Coordinator. I am an IBO certified examiner for Physics and specialise in supporting students with their Physics Internal Assessments, for which I am a certified Moderator. My students appreciate my empathy, commitment, and positive approach. In addition to my expert subject knowledge, I focus on supporting students’ wellbeing and resilience.

After achieving my undergraduate degree in Physics, I went on to obtain a Master in Education. In my current school, I am the IB Diploma coordinator and Extended Essay coordinator as well. I am an IB examiner for Physics HL and a Moderator for Physics Internal Assessments. I am in the process to become an IB Maths AA examiner.

I base my teaching on the needs of the students with a focus on conceptual understanding and problem-solving, using past papers and real-life examples where Maths and Physics can be applied. In addition to the notes and revision sheets I offer my students, I teach them learning strategies to help them organize their thoughts. Another focus of my lessons is on exam techniques, where the students learn to manage their time in the exam and how to address the questions.
