I have dedicated over twenty years to teaching Maths and Physics (AP/IB) in international classrooms. Highly experienced and passionate about teaching, I promote creativity and high-order thinking skills to enhance my students' performance. My engineering background fosters problem-solving and critical thinking, which underpins my teaching method. As a current IB Physics Examiner as well as IA moderator I am a specialist in supporting students preparing for their IB Diploma exams and their IAs. I can offer a unique understanding of the IB curriculum, concrete advice for exam preparation and techniques for helping students do their very best in their course. I also support students studying the AP curriculum through my previous roles as an AP reader and coordinator for AP Physics.

I completed my degree in Mechanical Engineering, then went on to achieve my Postgraduate Diploma and my Teaching Qualification. My teaching and tutoring experience encompasses a broad range of Physics and Math levels, covering IB Physics SL/HL, IB Mathematics AA SL/HL and AI SL, AP Physics 1 and 2, AP Physics C, as well as GCSE/iGCSE/MYP Physics and Math.

I make learning interactive and engaging through technology and simulations, demystifying complex subjects and helping students not only pass exams but genuinely understand the material. Beyond exam preparation, I successfully guide and support students in their investigations as part of Internal Assessment and Extended Essay, cultivating a deeper understanding of the subject matter. My students appreciate the way I teach exam technique and strengthen weaker areas so students approach their exams with confidence.
