I am a passionate and energetic teacher who thinks learning should be progressive, exciting and challenging. I specialise in the teaching of Geography but have also taught History and Sport Science within the iGCSE curriculum. I am skilled in supporting IB students with their internal assessments and extended essays and also tutor Digital Societies and the World Studies Extended Essay for the IB Diploma. Through creating an innovative and dynamic learning environment, I motivate students to take ownership of their own learning, while also exposing them to a variety of learning techniques to tap into their strengths and develop their flare and skills in the subject of Geography. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Geography with Sport & Exercise Sciences and I have over ten years' teaching experience, in such curricula as KS3, iGCSE, IB and A Level. I have held positions such as IBDP Coordinator, Head of Humanities, Lead Teacher of Geography and Duke of Edinburgh Coordinator. I specialise in using modern, diverse learning techniques that not only develop geographical understanding but also support development in English, both oral and written, and the student's use of technology.

I have obtained Chartered Geographer status with the Royal Geographical Society and I continue my professional development at all times, namely through the creation of my own geography educational website, which students can access at all times to revist our learning material. My teaching methods and techniques have proven to be a success for all students at all age ranges in high school.
