With over 18 years of experience in international education, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a multifaceted approach to teaching IB English A (Literature and Language & Literature) and Psychology. As an MYP and IB DP Teacher and Examiner, I integrate a rigorous curriculum with real-world applications to foster a deep understanding of subject matter. My teaching philosophy centres on promoting critical thinking, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning and I take great care to create an inclusive learning environment that addresses the diverse needs of students.

I am definitely a lifelong learner myself, and hold a BA in European and International Studies, a BA in English Language and Literature, a Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Psychology and a MEd in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). I have recently completed my PhD in Educational Psychology. I am deeply involved in ensuring the quality of the IB programme, working as an IBO Workshop Leader, School Visit Team Member and Building Quality Curriculum Reviewer.

My lessons are designed to be interactive and student-centred, with a focus on developing both academic skills and personal growth. I emphasise the importance of setting long-term goals, understanding the value of education, and building self-confidence. Students can expect a dynamic and engaging tutoring experience where they are encouraged to explore, question, and connect ideas across disciplines. By incorporating practical strategies from special education and adult learning theories, I ensure that each student receives personalized support and guidance.
