About:
I have been a History teacher for over 40 years, teaching across A Level, IGCSE, Swiss Maturité, and the IB. I am known for helping students achieve amazing results. A recent student praised me for taking her from a 1 to a 5 in History. Now semi-retired, I continue to tutor and am also an IB Diploma History examiner. I enjoy using my experience to help students reach their full academic potential.

Teaching experience and approach:
I hold Bachelor of Education in History and Education and a wealth of experience teaching the Humanities. As Head of a large Humanities department at an International School, I led the preparation of students for exams in the Swiss Maturité, French Brevet, IGCSE and IB in the following subjects; Business, Economics, Geography, Theory of Knowledge and History. My experience as an IB examiner, workshop leader and developer of IB examination materials gives me particular insight and skill into guiding students through the rigorous IB Diploma, Internal Assessments and Extended Essays.
