I have over 20 years of teaching experience, 14 years' experience teaching online and a wealth of knowledge across many curricula. I am also an experienced IB Chemistry Examiner and AP reader. My students say my unwavering enthusiasm shines through in my teaching, and I feel immensely proud to have guided countless students all over the world towards further academic pursuits in the natural sciences. I love the opportunity to play a key role in the learning and lives of my students, helping them to achieve their potential and adapting to their individual needs. Many of my students have gone on to excel in fields such as biochemical and medical research, with a significant number attaining Ph.D. degrees in disciplines such as Analytical Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Neuroscience, and Immunology.

My educational background, including a BSc in Petrochemical Engineering, a master's degree in Chemical Engineering, and a professional teaching certificate, has equipped me to deliver high-quality education in the field of Chemical Science. I have had the opportunity to instruct Chemistry at various levels, including iGCSE, IB, AP, and the MYP program. I am also a Team Leader, responsible for marking the Internal Investigations and Paper 2 free response questions for IB Chemistry HL and SL candidates. Recently, I attended professional training from the IB Organisation for IB DP Chemistry, focusing on the updated syllabus set for the first examination in May 2025, giving me all the experience needed to successfully bring my students through the IB.

I help my students with access to all my online resources, give them exam strategies and techniques, as well as helping them practice past papers in our sessions. I am flexible and can change my approach depending on what each student needs. In my tutoring I bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world applications, ensuring that students develop a strong understanding of the subject matter while preparing them for successful careers.
