I am a former researcher and lecturer in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics and have been successfully tutoring for TutorsPlus since 2012. I tutor high school and undergraduate students face-to-face or online in Maths and Physics for the IB Diploma, IGCSE, A Level and AP. I am known for my expertise in my subjects and for my highly focused exam preparation, emphasising exam techniques and study skills.

After my PhD in Mathematical Physics, I spent the following years teaching and lecturing undergraduates and master's students, as well as performing research. Over my two decades of teaching experience, I have worked as a tutor, teaching assistant, and lecturer at high school and university level. I mostly use the “I do, we do, you do” technique, where I first show students how to answer questions, then I gradually withdraw my contribution to help them find the answers. This steadily builds their confidence until they can tackle exercises and questions by themselves. I always choose questions and exercises from a pool that is relevant to the programme the student is enrolled in, and make sure these are tailored to their level and objectives.
