I would describe myself as a born teacher with a passion for teaching Mathematics. Teaching is my oxygen! I am an IB Maths IA Examiner and have taught across multiple curricula in a number of international schools. I am skilled at guiding students to enrich their own learning through Internal Assessments and Extended Essays. I strive to find innovative methods for teaching students based on their individual needs. My students find that not only do their grades improve, but also their love for Maths!

I hold a Bachelor of Science and went on to complete my Graduate Diploma of Teaching and Learning in 2002 in New Zealand. During my over 20 years of teaching, I have also served as Head of Mathematics. I am keenly aware that every pupil is unique and has different learning needs. I make their agenda, my agenda. We start from where they are at and, if required, go back through any basics that they need to be able to move forward. I consolidate key concepts, practise exam style questions, and use a variety of tools and resources to stimulate learning. Where I stand apart is I make the student the centre of everything I do and what I do is with a lot of compassion and professionalism.
