Yacine

I have been a Maths, Physics and Economics tutor since 2010, and I have tutored for TutorsPlus since 2012. I have worked in several high schools in Geneva as a long-term substitute teacher and I also work in an educational association which offers additional support to students disadvantaged by illness or other issues for their Swiss Maturité and French Baccalaureate studies. Able to teach in English and French, I am told I have a gift for helping students understand and apply theory and concepts whilst crucially keeping them motivated.

I studied radiation physics before completing a master's in Economics at the University of Geneva, which in turn led to a Diploma in Finance. I then worked in the field of insurance consulting, while giving courses in Maths, Physics and Management in a school support centre in Nyon. Having discovered a real pleasure and natural ease for teaching, I have devoted myself exclusively to this ever since. I am a curious and multidisciplinary person and strive to transmit a love of learning to my students.
