During my long career I have held a number of leadership roles including Principal of an International School, MYP coordinator and DP coordinator. However, teaching Maths has always been the most satisfying and rewarding role. As an IB examiner and IA moderator for over a decade, I have a unique point of view to assist my students through rigorous exam preparation as well as independent tasks such as Internal Assessments and the Extended Essay. As well as the IB, I have considerable experience teaching Maths to IGCSE and A Level, having worked 7 years in an international school following the UK curriculum.

I hold a Master of Education and throughout my over two decades of teaching experience I have worked mainly in international schools following the IB and UK curricula, teaching middle school to high school. I employ a student-focused, adaptable approach that builds confidence, sharpens critical-thinking skills, and drives academic success in diverse international classrooms. I can easily say that my educational philosophy is based on that all students are capable of achieving higher levels of understanding when guided by the appropriate method of teaching. I believe that every student is different with an individual way of learning and I always try to reflect this in my lessons.
