I am a dynamic, tech-savvy and approachable Business and Economics tutor with over 20 years' teaching experience. My students can expect to benefit from my excellent subject knowledge, and extensive experience as an IB Diploma examiner and Internal Assessment and Extended Essay supervisor. I aim to develop my students' sense of wellbeing, mastery and purpose as central tenets to their education, guiding them to achieve even beyond their goals and experience genuine pleasure in their studies.

Since obtaining my teaching certification over 20 years ago, I have gained a wealth of experience teaching IB Economics and Business Management in various international schools. I practice values-based leadership and have achieved many positive changes in student and teacher wellbeing, performance and sense of community in roles as Head of Faculty and Head of Department.

In my teaching, I pay attention to ensuring excellent communication, setting clear goals, consolidating foundational concepts and instilling a pleasure for mastering the topic. I am highly adaptable and able to meet the different needs of individual students. My many years as an English as an Additional Language teacher has given me expertise to adapt my communication to students whose first language is not English.
