I am a certified Chemistry and Physics teacher with more than 20 years’ experience of both in person and online teaching. Over the course of this extensive career I have seen more than 300 of my students successfully placed in universities such as Oxford and Cambridge. Having served as Head of Chemistry in the two previous schools, I know what’s expected from students, no matter if they’re following the iGCSE, A Level, or IB programme. I am currently a certified IBO examiner for the IB Chemistry paper 2 and paper 3 exams as well as an Internal Assessment moderator. This means I am well placed to be able to help Diploma students prepare for their final exams or support them with their Internal Assessment or Extended Essay development.

I hold a BSc in Chemistry, a Masters in Electrical and Computing Engineering and a MSc in Techno-Economic systems with a specialisation in E-Learning and E-Schools. As such, I’ve developed expertise in asynchronous and synchronous e-learning platforms, using online tools adeptly to enhance student learning. Starting out as a Computer Science teacher, I was then certified to teach Physics and Chemistry and have enjoyed working in schools in Greece and Turkey. I have solid knowledge of the GCSE, A Level and IB programmes as well as the AP. I tutor with patience and humour and feel it's a real privilege to pass on what I know to my students.
