About:
I am a certified Physics tutor with over 20 years of experience teaching across a range of curricula including IB, AP, A Level, and IGCSE for various boards. I am an IB Physics examiner, with particular experience in Paper 2 and the Internal Assessment. In addition, I am a DP Physics Assessment writer and author of 4 Physics books, giving me ample experience and insight into supporting students to excel in the Internal Assessments, Extended Essays and exams. I genuinely care for my students and aim to be a motivating force for them to achieve their highest potential.
Teaching experience and approach:
After completing a Bachelor of Physics, I went on to complete a master's in Physics Teaching and Curriculum. I started teaching in 2002 and have been teaching IB Physics since 2008, adding IGCSE and A Level to my skillset since 2013. I combine my wealth of experience with a patient, supportive approach to ensure my students excel. From their very first class, I check my students' background level not only in Physics but also Maths, which is an important foundation for Physics success. Then, using a hierarchy of Physics questions, I'll quickly be able to identify your strengths as well as the gaps to prioritise.
