Mejrima

I have been teaching Maths since 2009 and am an IB Maths specialist teaching Analysis and Approaches at all levels, and Applications and Interpretations at standard level. I am known for being an excellent communicator, and building great relationships with students, parent and colleagues. I use my experience as an IB Maths Examiner and Internal Assessment moderator to guide my students in how to optimise their grades in their Internal Assessments, Extended Essays, and final exams.

I have a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and a Master of Science in Management. During my over 15 years' experience teaching, I have kept completely up-to-date with the IB syllabus, regularly attending workshops for IB Mathematics courses. I build confidence in my students by celebrating what they know and extending their knowledge from there. I encourage them to ask questions and participate actively in the lesson. I am able to quickly identify the root cause of confusion and guide students towards solving problems themselves both in class and in their own time.
