I have been a full-time teacher of English since 2008, specialising in IGCSE and IB English Language, English Literature and IB TOK. I am an IB Examiner for English A (both courses) as well as for Theory of Knowledge. As such, I am well-placed to guide students with expert advice how to excel in their Internal Assessments, Extended Essays and exams. I have tutored for TutorsPlus since 2015 and am available for both online and face-to-face tuition in Geneva.

I hold a BA English Literature and a Postgraduate Certificate of Education in English with Drama from Cambridge University. I started teaching in 2008 in the UK before quickly becoming an IB specialist of English and Theory of Knowledge. I am also an IB Workshop Leader, training other IB teachers in the subject.

I believe education should be a foundation to kindle curiosity. I encourage inquiry, discussion, reflection, and guide students to develop their critical thinking skills and personal interpretations. My passion for my subjects helps to create a learning environment where the literature studied becomes a source of inspiration and connection. I develop individual learning plans and differentiate my pedagogy according to the student in front of me. I encourage students to express their cultural contexts and values in their personal responses.
