Hola a todos, I am a qualified teacher from beautiful Valencia in Spain. I offer fun and rewarding lessons in Spanish and specialise in teaching and preparing students for the IGCSE, A Level and IB Diploma. I am an experienced IB examiner for Spanish Language B and Language A, both Literature and Language & Literature courses and offer expert guidance for Internal Assessments and Extended Essays. I see myself as a passionate and energetic teacher who delivers balanced and effective lessons, enabling students to thrive and perform to the highest standards.

I have been a teacher of Spanish, French and Italian since 2011, with extensive experience teaching all these languages at middle and high school level. I hold a MA in Spanish and Latin American literature, a MA in Spanish as a Foreign Language, as well as a Postgraduate Certificate of Education (Modern Foreign Languages). For over five years I have been an Examiner for the IBO, currently for DP Spanish Language B and DP Language A. I specialise in exam preparation, for the IGCSE, A Level and IB Diploma.

My career has so far taken me to the USA, UK, Italy and Switzerland working in a number of prestigious schools and boarding houses. My teaching has a communicative approach combined with a good basis of explicit and implicit grammar. I offer conversation-based lessons, beginner lessons, preparations for exams and challenging lessons for those who are already at an advanced level.
