Having taught in both domestic and international schools for 20 years, I have experience across a range of curricula. This includes IGCSE, A Level, IB and AP in the subjects of Geography, ESS, and Environmental Science. I am an IB Examiner and IA moderator for Geography as well as an EE moderator for the IB World Studies Extended Essay. Over my career I have consistently led my students to impressive and improved results. I enjoy fostering routines for learning and a sense of collaborative discovery that goes beyond the classroom.

I hold a MA in Geography, am a certified teacher of secondary Geography. In addition, I have held leadership positions such as Faculty Leader and Head of Geography. I always place the student at the centre of my teaching. this involves tailoring tuition to the individual’s needs while challenging them to achieve to the very best of their ability. During a tutoring session I have a number of different techniques and strategies to ensure there is maximum engagement. While also recognising priorities shift as students edge towards examination sessions. As an examiner and published author of ‘Urban Environments’ IB revision guide, I have a vast array of resources that can benefit students in their learning.
