Saleh

I am a passionate linguist, with over 10 years' experience teaching French and Arabic, primarily in international schools. I am also an experienced translator. I specialize in iGCSE, DELF and IB teaching and have been a French B examiner for the IBO since 2022. My teaching approach is detailed and creative, which has resulted in a 100% pass rate for the IB in the past 5 years and success in Extended Essays and Internal Assessments. I encourage critical thinking in my students and also enjoy critically assessing my own teaching, which has resulted in perfecting methods for students to enjoy and succeed in language learning.

I hold a Master's degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from Université de Paris II Panthéon Assas and I have been teaching French B and Ab Initio & Arabic B in international IB schools since 2016. Based on my experience teaching, I have developed my own outstanding material and resources to target key areas of the course and ensure students understand and excel in the IBDP requirements, as well as building a solid base of grammar, vocabulary and communication skills. I use my experience as an IB examiner to provide thorough preparation for Internal Assessments and guide students through practicing past papers to reach the highest grades. My students appreciate my patient and kind teaching style, combined with my subject knowledge and passion for French.
