I am an expert in teaching German Language and literature with over 25 years' experience. As well as teaching iGCSE and preparing students for ÖSD and DSD German language exams, I am a specialist in the IB programmes, teaching Ab Initio, German B and German A (both courses). I am skilled in exam preparation, acting as an IB German Examiner and Internal Assessment moderator as well as an examiner for the internationally recognised ÖSD exams. Students can expect to learn with me in a friendly, flexible and supportive environment adapted to their needs.

I have a Master's in German Studies and am also a certified translator and interpreter. I started teaching over 25 years ago and have taught children, adolescents and adults over my career. I have vast experience preparing students for a variety of exam types, including the Deutsches Spachdiplom (DSD) and Österreichisches Sprachdiplom (ÖSD) as well as the IGCSE and IB. I am currently focusing on tuition for the IB Diploma, and have been an examiner for IB German A Language and Literature since 2019. A friendly working environment and flexible method depending on personal needs is very important for my lessons, as well as setting clear goals to work towards and achieve. I use my sense of humour to quickly engage students, increase their curiosity for the German language and improve their academic results with ease.
