About:

With more than 20 years of professional experience, I am a caring and dedicated IB Mathematics teacher who is passionate about helping students build confidence and truly understand mathematics. I have taught all levels of IB Mathematics and guided countless students through their Internal Assessments and Extended Essays. I work both as an IB Examiner and an IA Moderator, allowing me to help students understand expectations and reach their highest potential. I am familiar with the most commonly used digital learning and exam-preparation platforms, ensuring students are confident with the tools they need for success. After our first session, you'll have a clear roadmap, realistic goals, and a positive feeling that you can succeed in mathematics — and I’ll make sure the learning experience is supportive, motivating, and enjoyable!

Teaching experience and approach:

I graduated with a degree in teaching Mathematics in 2002 and have been teaching ever since. My tutoring journey started while I was still a university student — and from the very beginning, I enjoyed helping others overcome challenges and discover their true strengths in math. In my teaching, I prioritise a supportive environment where every student feels seen, encouraged, and capable. I tailor each lesson to the student’s needs, making space for different learning styles and encouraging a growth mindset. Visualisation is very important in mathematics, so in online lessons I regularly use a graphic tablet to make explanations clear, interactive, and engaging. My goal is for students not only to improve their results but also to feel more comfortable and confident in their mathematical thinking.
