About:
I am a responsible, creative and well-organised teacher with experience teaching Chinese in both China and Switzerland since 2011. My current focus is on the IBDP Chinese A and B programmes, and I also supervise Extended Essays. Teaching is not only my profession but also my passion. I firmly believe that effective education requires understanding each student’s individual abilities and I bring my lessons to life through crafting projects and realistic scenarios through which my students can practise their growing skills.
Teaching experience and approach:
After completing undegraduate studies in Chinese Linguistics and Literature, I went on to complete a Master in Education in Chinese Teaching. Since 2011 I have worked as a Chinese teacher, responsible for Chinese language instruction for students aged 8–18, including both native and non-native speakers, covering Pre-IB, native language, and Chinese as a Second Language programmes. In my current roles in two Swiss International Schools, I specialise in the IBDP Chinese A and B programmes, supervising Extended Essays, and contributing to the development of pre-IB curricula. I adopt a dynamic, student-centered approach to foster my students' academic growth and personal development.
