I am a certified Physics teacher, with over 20 years of international experience. My specialist programs are IBDP Physics (SL and HL) and iGCSE Physics but I have also taught IB MYP and A Level. I am an IBDP Physics examiner, co- author of the only IBDP Physics textbook of Kognity and I developed part of the IBDP Physics course material for Pamoja -Oxford. My lessons are highly interactive and I have helped many students to excel in Physics and many IB students achieve high grades for their IA and EE. During the holidays I teach IB DP Physics revision courses to prepare students for their exams.

I hold a double Bachelor's degree in Science and in Physics Education and my over three decades' experience teaching has taken me to Africa, Asia, Europe, the UK and South America. I love teaching physics and making it interesting and relevant. I have been able to motivate and inspire many students who initially started with a dislike of the subject and changed into excited physics learners. As a tutor I will first try to identify student's problem areas and work with them in a positive and constructive way to achieve success. I design my online lessons based on my students’ needs with an emphasis on confidence - boosting activities, explaining difficult concepts, improving examination skills and practicing exam style questions.
