About:
I have over 30 years of experience teaching Biology, and have taught IB Biology and ESS since 2007. I have been a DP ESS Examiner for Paper 2, Extended Essay and Internal Assessment since 2010 and love guiding students to excel in these areas. My international career has taken me to Asia, the Middle East and Europe. I truly adapt my online tuition to every student’s needs, and aim to instil in my students a calm confidence in their abilities as I guide them to achieve their goals.
Teaching experience and approach:
A life-long learner, passionate about education, I have a BSc in Biology, and a master's degree as well as a PhD in Science Education. An expert in teaching MYP and DP Biology and ESS, I have also held positions suchs as Academic Dean and Head of Science. As an IB ESS examiner, and IA and EE moderator for over 15 years, I draw upon my extensive knowledge and experience of all types of learners to guide each student to achieve their best in their independent tasks and exams.
