I have over a decade of dedicated online tutoring experience alongside school-based leadership and teaching roles since 2018. I specialise in Psychology at A Level, GCSE, IB and BTEC and currently serve as an IB Examiner and Team Leader, drawing on this role to ensure my students know exactly what is needed to excel in their exams and coursework. My online practice uses interactive whiteboards, digital resource hubs and real-time collaborative tools to replicate and exceed traditional classroom engagement. I work with students across global time zones and am passionate about demystifying complex psychological theories and helping students master exam technique. I love playing a part in my students' academic journeys, adapting to their individual learning styles and helping them build the confidence to achieve outstanding results.

My academic background reflects a strong commitment to psychological science and evidence-based education. I hold a PGCE in Secondary Psychology with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), an MSc in Applied Psychology, a Postgraduate Diploma in International Education (PGDIE), and a BA in Psychology. I have taught both in person and online, and have built extensive exam-marking experience across A Level and IB boards in my role as IB Examiner and Team Leader.

My teaching is grounded in evidence-based cognitive strategies, including active retrieval practice, dual coding and scaffolded metacognition, which I use to structure sessions that make complex psychological theories accessible. In practice, this means working through past papers, using data-driven progress tracking, and building personalised intervention plans tailored to each student's needs. I also engage in ongoing continued professional development in inclusive practice and curriculum design to keep my teaching aligned with the latest educational standards. My aim is for every student to leave our sessions with greater confidence, stronger exam technique, and the skills to consistently achieve outstanding academic outcomes.
