I am a certified and highly experienced Biology teacher with over three decades of experience teaching in a wide variety of schools and in many different countries. I teach to the iGCSE and IB curricula. As an IB DP Examiner in Biology, as well as a senior script examiner, IA moderator and Extended essay examiner, I am fully up-to-date with the requirements of the IB Diploma and can confidently guide students to prepare fully for their exams, internal assessments or extended essays. I love Biology and am a very student-centred educator. Everyone can learn if they want to and I am happy to help all who desire to improve their Biology or Science mastery.

I hold a Master of Education in Advanced Teaching alongside a BSc in Zoology and a Postgraduate Certificate of Education in Physical and Biological Sciences. Over my long career, I have held many leadership positions including Head of Department, IB Diploma Programme coordinator, MYP coordinator, Vice Principal and Secondary Principal. I have considerable experience in the online environment and in the use of technology and applications. My aim is to help students acquire the skills to be successful learners and master Biology and Science at the same time.
