I have decades of experience creating personalised and engaging learning experiences tailored to students' unique needs and learning styles. I am now an IB Biology and ESS expert. Since 2014 I have been an IB examiner for Biology and for the Biology Extended Essay, giving me years of insight how best to support students to thrive in their Extended Essays and Internal Assessments. Additionally, I can support general middle school Science with ease, including MYP and iGCSE, as well as AP Biology and Natural Sciences.

I hold a PhD in Biology and started teaching in international schools in 2010. My career has taken me to China and several countries across Europe, including a position teaching DP Biology and ESS at an IB World School. I currently teach IB DP Biology, DP ESS, and MYP Science, but I also draw on experience teaching Advanced Chemistry, Chemistry, Biology and AP Biology.

I believe in fostering a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring concepts at their own pace. My approach emphasises clarity, patience, and encouragement, aiming to build confidence and critical thinking skills. By adapting lessons to align with students' interests and goals, I aim to inspire a deeper appreciation for the subject matter and empower them to achieve their academic aspirations.
