I am a passionate and research-informed Mathematics educator specialising in all Maths courses of the IB Diploma, MYP, and IGCSE/GCSE Mathematics. My academic research into teaching quality and student learning has shaped a deeply personalised, adaptive approach to every lesson. I see my role not only as a teacher but as a coach and mentor — guiding students step by step towards their goals by supporting their individual needs, building motivation, and teaching self-regulation strategies. Students and families describe my approach as pedagogical, patient, and thoughtful, noting improvements not only in grades and confidence but in structured thinking and problem-solving that extends well beyond Mathematics.

My academic background includes a BSc in Mathematics, an MA in Curriculum and Instruction, and a PhD in Education Sciences, including research conducted at a leading Swiss university into teaching quality and student learning. My teaching experience spans IB Diploma Mathematics SL and HL, IB MYP, and IGCSE/GCSE, gained across international school settings in Europe. I have also served as an instructor on a university-level MA seminar focused on teaching quality, reflecting my commitment to education both as a practice and as a field of enquiry.

In my tutoring, I firmly believe that students are agents in their own learning. I adapt every lesson to the individual student's level, learning style, and pace, ensuring concepts are fully understood before moving forward. I place particular emphasis on building mathematical confidence, developing structured problem-solving habits, and equipping students with the self-regulation strategies they need to become independent learners.
