About:
As a certified teacher of French language and literature, I have over a decade's experience. I bring students to new levels of mastery of French, and its related culture and history. First, having taught the IB programme in 2016 (both Language A, and Language B) I have the experience to support IB students with their Extended Essays and Internal Assessments. From my teaching career I also have the ability to tutor students studying the French Baccalauréat. I am known for my warm personality and creativity. Both help me connect with my students and adapt my teaching to their needs.
Teaching experience and approach:
I hold a Bachelor and Master degrees in French Literature and Language and worked in an IB school between 2016 - 2024, designing courses for learners in middle and secondary school. I have experience of the IB MYP and Diploma programme, as well as the French Baccalauréat. Throughout my years of teaching, I have learned that we do not all learn in the same way and that the best form of learning is that which comes through pleasure and the desire to learn. I set clear goals together with my students that we all enjoy working towards and achieving.
