I am a qualified Primary Teacher with over 10 years of international teaching experience, having taught across the English National Curriculum and the IB Primary Years Programme. Before retraining as a teacher, I worked as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, and I bring this unique background into my classroom, particularly in supporting handwriting development, sensory regulation and neurodiversity. I am passionate about creating inclusive, engaging lessons that are tailored to each child's individual needs and learning style. Through practical, hands-on activities, games and a positive approach, I help children build confidence and enjoy learning. I love nothing more than watching a child grow in confidence and achieve their full potential in a happy, supportive environment.

I hold a BSc in Occupational Therapy and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE International). I have worked across international schools in Switzerland since 2016, both as a classroom and in targeted 1:1 and small-group support roles. Most recently, I taught Year 1 and Year 2 at my previous school, delivering lessons based on the English National Curriculum, having previously taught Year 4 at the same school. I have also supported students aged 7 to 13 with dyslexia and/or ADHD, and taught within the IB Primary Years Programme at another international school.

My teaching philosophy centres on creating an inclusive, engaging environment where every child feels valued and supported to learn in the way that suits them best. I use practical, hands-on activities, games and positive reinforcement, tailoring each session to the individual child. My background as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist enriches this further, giving me particular strength in supporting handwriting development, sensory regulation and neurodiversity. Through this approach, my students build lasting confidence, develop a genuine enjoyment of learning, and are supported to achieve their full potential.
