With over 20 years of teaching experience, I specialise in Mathematics across IGCSE/GCSE, A Level and the full IB Diploma, teaching Maths AI and AA at both SL and HL. I hold current IB training in both DP Mathematics and the Extended Essay Interdisciplinary Pathway, and I also support students with World Studies Extended Essays. Furthermore, I am a current examiner for AQA and Edexcel GCSE Maths Foundation/Higher and Further Maths, bringing up-to-date assessment insight into every lesson. Passionate about helping students build strong problem-solving habits and true exam confidence, I use a calm, structured and highly personalised approach to ensure my students feel supported, capable and motivated to reach their full potential.

I hold a BEng (Hons) in Electrical Engineering (Electronics) together with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Mathematics, giving me a strong analytical foundation alongside clear, structured pedagogy. My career has spanned over 20 years across leading international and British schools, including a role as Head of Mathematics at my previous school, where I led curriculum development and departmental strategy. My teaching portfolio covers MYP, GCSE/iGCSE, A Level and Further Mathematics, and the full IB Diploma Maths AA and AI at both SL and HL. My examiner experience keeps my teaching closely aligned with current assessment standards.

I believe strongly in tailoring my approach to each individual student, combining past papers, targeted online resources and clear explanations to build both understanding and confidence. In sessions, I focus on identifying and strengthening areas of weakness while reinforcing core skills through structured practice. I also provide expert guidance for Internal Assessments and Extended Essays, including the Interdisciplinary Pathway and World Studies, helping students produce rigorous, well-structured and conceptually strong work. Bilingual in English and Spanish, I bring a global perspective to my teaching. My aim is for every student to leave our sessions not only better prepared for exams, but genuinely more confident and capable mathematicians.
