About:
I am an experienced Italian language and literature educator with over 10 years of experience teaching in international schools, universities, and private institutions. My expertise includes IB DP Italian A Literature, Italian Language and Literature, and Ab-Initio, with a strong focus on literary analysis, language development, and interdisciplinary learning. I have also specialised in SEN, and so bring vast experience in adapting my teaching to students of all levels and learning styles. I support IB students to reach their full potential in Internal Assessments and Extended Essays. Dedicated, empathetic, and passionate, I am committed to helping students achieve success beyond their expectations.
Teaching experience and approach:
I hold a PhD in Italian Studies and have been teaching Italian Language and Literature Studies since 2013 both in Italy and the UK. My extensive experience in both traditional and online education allows me to adapt my teaching to different learning styles and academic needs. Beyond teaching, I have contributed to international literary journals and academic research, refining my ability to provide in-depth literary analysis and critical perspectives.
My approach to teaching is student-centred, inclusive, and adaptable. I tailor lessons to individual learning styles, ensuring that all students, including those with special needs, receive the support they need to thrive. By fostering critical thinking, language proficiency, and a deep appreciation for Italian culture, I create an engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and academic success for every student
